Peppa Pig Theme Park coming to Florida in 2022

Merlin Entertainments and LEGOLAND® Florida Resort will bring another theme park to Winter Haven, Florida. Peppa Pig™ Theme Park, a new standalone theme park that will be located at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort, is slated to open in 2022. Families will meet Peppa and her friends as they snort, giggle and play to build their family’s first theme park memories together.



American Airlines revolutionizes the travel experience for customers returning to the skies

American Airlines customers returning to travel this spring will notice several innovations to make traveling even easier and more touch-free than before. Travelers enjoy touchless innovations and can look forward to more convenience in the coming months. Touchless technology trials will expand across Dallas Fort Worth International Airport terminals and select Admirals Club lounges. More touch-free ways to check baggage using a mobile device will be available. 



Brightline names Mike Reininger CEO of Brightline Holdings

Brightline Trains announced last week the appointment of Mike Reininger as Chief Executive Officer of Brightline Holdings. Reininger is a familiar face at Brightline, having served as the president and chief development officer from 2012 to 2018. Under his leadership, Brightline launched and completed the development of its phase one system from Miami to West Palm Beach, including stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Marriott announced the unexpected passing of Arne M. Sorenson, President and CEO

Arne M. Sorenson, President and CEO, unexpectedly passed away on February 15, 2021. When Mr. Sorenson stepped back from full-time management in early February, the company tapped two veteran Marriott executives, Stephanie Linnartz and Tony Capuano, to share responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s business units and corporate functions, in addition to maintaining their current responsibilities.
